Doncaster Racecourse confirms star-studded summer line-up of music

Live music is almost back and so is live sport, so what better way to get back into the swing of things than combining the two for one of your first big outings back! Doncaster Racecourse is known nationwide for getting stellar musical acts alongside their race days and have confirmed this year 2 dates that include Yorkshire legends Kaiser Chiefs and UK Number 1 artist Rag ‘n’ Bone Man.

On 26 June 2021, Kaiser Chiefs will be headlining a huge gig a Doncaster Racecourse. This special show will invite audiences to enjoy an entire day of racing at one of the UK’s most prestigious arenas, with the added bonus of a full live set by the Leeds indie titans late into the evening.

Established as one of the best loved guitar bands to emerge this century, the Kaiser Chiefs will be heading to the races with a winning set-list of bona fide indie belters in their arsenal. Over the last 15 years the Kaisers have become a real household name, from their seven critically acclaimed and Top 10 charting albums selling multi-millions worldwide, to making memorable performances at some of the biggest events in recent history including Live 8 and the 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, and winning innumerable awards including ‘Best Live Act’ at both the Brit Awards and Q Awards. 

With top 10 hits like ‘I Predict A Riot’, ‘Ruby’, ‘Oh My God’, ‘Never Miss A Beat’, and ‘Everyday I Love You Less & Less’ all cementing the band’s penchant for penning contemporary pop classics like few of their peers, the many highlights to be found on their acclaimed #3 charting 2019 album ‘Duck’, illustrate a band that have no intention of slowing down soon.

Taking to the stage on Saturday 17th July 2021 is Rag ‘n’ Bone Man this special ‘Live After Racing’ event will provide a full day at the races, followed by a showstopping headline set by the neo-soul megastar. 

This one-off Doncaster date follows the release of the UK singer’s highly anticipated second album, ‘Life By Misadventure’ which came out last week and is once again heading for major chart success.

Now firmly established as one of Britain’s most successful artists of the past decade, the pop superstar is poised to re-assert himself as one of its most authentic and original talents on the live stage in 2021. With a clutch of powerful material at his fingertips, expect his Doncaster appearance to be brimful of bold new cuts and rousing old favourites, including “Human”, “Skin”, “Giant”, “Run” and the critically-acclaimed new single “All You Ever Wanted” .
